Day 11

Time to say goodbye to our island paradise as we get back on a plane (this makes the 6th in case anyone was counting) and head back to Bangkok.  The flight was after breakfast so we had time to pack and have one last meal at Mama's.

These two took care of us every time we came.  They were the only people we saw working there other than the cook.  Never did ask if that was mama back there.

A final goodbye and we are off!  We will miss the calm serenity of this place.

Once back in Bangkok we were able to Uber back to our old apartment.  We were able to rent it on both ends of the trip.  Was nice to already know the area and how to get around.

We had a list of things we didn't make it to the first time around and one of those was the Kukrit House.  His house was a traditional Thai house, preserved for historical purposes.

The house had a pool and even a pet cemetery with over 20 "pets" buried in it, all with proper headstones!

Interesting sign

Time to head back to our home and eat and get a massage now that they are back to 200 baht.  Here are some pictures from the street by the apartment we stayed at.  We went to the market down the street to get some fruit also.

Thai version of fish sticks.

Jed has a keen eye.  On our way back he spotted a kindred spirit.

It was nice being back in Bangkok where the prices were awesome!  We really got spoiled going here first.  If we would have hit Phuket, Chiang Mai, and then Bangkok it would have progressively gotten cheaper!

Day 11 = Success
